Introduction

The main sound mixing desk is an Allen & Heath GL2400. Manuals for it can be found on-line by clicking here and selecting "Documents".

Although the desk has a a whopping 743 controls and has 137 sockets on the rear, it's actually quite simple once you break it down. Sound comes in from a number of sources and then goes out to a variety of destinations. The desk merely controls how much of each source goes to where, with the occasional bit of manipulation.

Most of the desk is already set up, since most of our sources and destinations are fixed.
